To Hilary Reed,|
I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:
I know that my grand mother, Pearl Macmullen has died many years ago in Rangoon, Burma of Typhuus. I would like to know where she might be buried so I can go and pay my respects. My mother Pamela is alive and well. Mum was evacuated out of Burma, as I understand it, when the convent she was staying in became ransacked during the Japanese invasion of Burma. I have never heard from grandmother's side of the family and would like to find them, they I believe, are called Friedlander. Thank you.
