To Pamela Spice (Nee Evans),

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am trying to make contact with any friends, relations or Piano Pupils of Dorrie Francis who lived in

Rangoon, attended Maulmein Convent , and kept contact with Sr. Magdaline at St. Joseph's

Convent Mamymo. She left Burma as Mrs. Evans but returned there several times to visit her family

. Her father was John Francis who worked at the Telegraph Office. Her siblings were Major Henry

Francis, Edna Fischer, Lancelot and Clifton. Her maiden name was Longson. related to Desmere I

would appreciate any contacts from anyone who knew or was related to any of the above

mentioned. I visited Burma last year and would now love to know more about my parents life there.

Mother born 1901 left Burma as Mrs. Herbert Evans, revisited but didn't return again after 1932.

Hope someone can help.

Maybe I can help a bit.
