To Jc,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am searching for lost relatives on behalf of my father, (U Myo Nyunt),

who was born in the 1940s and raised in Nan Shan and went to RIT

University and graduated with an engineer degree in metallurgy. He got

married to my mother in Yangon, and had three children before coming to

the US around 1983. He had kept very minimal contact with his family

since moving to the States, mainly writing to his mother-in-law over the

years. It is unlikely that his MIL is still alive, however, the last time

he tried to send her a letter (a few years ago), it came back to us,

undelivered because of a bad address. We were hoping perhaps another

relative would have seen the letter and responded back to us. I have very

limited information, but if anyone can provide any help or insight, it

would be greatly appreciated. They owned a tea business in Mandalay,

called Aung Zambu or Aung Zabu - Hein Tea Company. The address where we

sent the letter to was No. (210-A) 30th Street (Between 84-85 Streets) in

Mandalay. I was trying to do a google search on the tea company and found

other addresses, but not sure which is correct, or who to reach out to

for that matter. One lists the address as 17 Street, (bet. 88 and 89

Streets), and the other is 87th Street, Saytanar 2-Lane (bet. 19 and 20

Streets) both in Mandalay. The names my dad addressed the letter to was U

Saw Myint and Daw Myint Myint Saw. Any help would be appreciated. Thank

you.

Maybe I can help a bit.
