To Jo Mctavish,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am trying to trace my grandparents who were married in Rangoon in 1910, I know ymy

grandfather died early and my grandmother remarried and went to India with her new

husband.I am trying to find details of when my grandfather died and where in Rangoon he

is buried,we presume he died and was buried in Rangoon in around 1920-1924.

My grandfathers name was Walter Joseph Webster and my grandmother was Josephine

Bernadtette Lewis they were aged 33 and 29 when they married in 1910. My grandfathers

father was John Burton Webster and he was born in Halifax, England, his mothers fathers

name was John Lewis but we have no information about him.

If anyone has any information about the Webster or Lewis family I would be most grateful

as I am visiting Myanmar in October. Many thanks

Maybe I can help a bit.
