I am looking for Matiur Rahman. He was known as M.Rahman.

He was killed on 28 january 1943 in INsein.

His father name was HAJI ASMATULLAH and his wife name was AYESHA KHATUN.

I have got some his documents in my home.

He was a General Merchant.

Professionally he was a Baker, Contractor & Commission Agent.

He had cloth shop in Rangoon.

Shop No. 339-340, SURTEE C BAZAR. RANGOON.

He had Bakery,Confectionary,Firewood shop in no.7 Hliang River Road,

INSEIN. May be it was in LEGONE WARD.

He had contact with Raiway & Forest Department and Jail district


he was a Firewood supplier in Railway Loco Department.

He had two Ferry Ghat.

1. INSEIN Ghat

2. Tantabin Ghat

He had two Truck.

I have found several location of his office.

I don't know why he was killed.

I don't even know where he was burried.

Goverment of Burma ,Simla sent my grandmother AYESHA KHATUN a letter to

take compensation of his lost property in the War(1941-1945).

my father ( NUR Rahman ) wanted to visit my grandfather's cemetery.

Unfortunately he was died on 23 january 2015,

Now i want to visit his ( Matiur Rahman ) cemetery to pray for his

departed soul.I have also a uncle named HABIBUR Rahman (my father's

cousin) in Rangoon. I am not sure heis alive or not.

I study B.B.A major in Marketing at Chittagong University.

I would ,therefore, be very grateful if any of you would be kind enough

to search and give me information about my grandfather Matiur Rahman.
