To Heyllene Moir,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page ( You said:

regards Heyllene

Pleased to hear from anyone that was interned in Maymyo. I was 11 years old at the time. Eight of us started on the trek: Myself Jim Nicholls, my mother, sister Theresa, brother Tony and nieces Marie(Diddy), Collette and Ann. Diddy's 18 month old sister, Claire, died in the camp. We were captured and sent to Sagaing and thereafter sent back to Maymyo our starting point. Would especially like to hear from Winsome Minus, her father was a second dad to me. Also Edwina Macdonald and Joyce Brooks (Brookes) or any news of these lost chums.

Please reply to James Nicholls by clicking here.
