To Sam,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

Searching for relatives of my Great Uncle Frederick Jackson (born England), who lived in

Lower Tavoy Burma in 1920's-1940's and was a mining engineer. Married a Burmese lady

(Sarah), had 4 children - George, Frederick, Mary & Julia. Believe Sarah & Frederick Snr,

died on the trek out of Burma in 1940's, but Mary survived. Julia was a nurse in London

during the war. Mary lost a young baby on the trek out of Burma, but survived and later

had a son (Terry) in England, last heard of in 1950's in England. Would be very interested

to know the whereabouts of any relatives.

Maybe I can help a bit.
