To Julie Martin,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

My father was born in Rangoon in 1923, his name at birth was Edward Patrick Cross. He is now deceased but had some brothers also born around this time to mother Evelyn Imelda Cross. The brothers I know of were Cecil David and Kenneth Cross. I know all these people existed as my father left Rangoon as a young man and travelled to the UK where he met and married my mother. His brothers also followed in the 1950s and I am not able to find any trace of them.

Mother Evelyn also went to the UK in the 50's.

Evelyn's husband was called Whitney Cross and after the war he left Burma never to be heard of again.

I am looking for any relatives or friends who can give me any information at all about any members of my family.

Maybe I can help a bit.
