To Cecil Aaron,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am seeking information on my mother's family. My Mother's name was Dr Beatrice Antioch (married in India to Cecil Aaron)born in 1918. Her mother was Lydia Antioch lived in Maymyo (or Mandalay). I believe my mother's aunt (Lydia's sister) was one of the first female medical graduates in Burma; name Dr Caroline McGregor (nee Antioch). My mother Beatrice had a brother Ernest, sister Sarah and another brother Ian.

They were all evacuated to India in 1940. I am hoping to travel to Myanmar in a couple of week's time and would like to follow up on any info I can get. Thanks.

Maybe I can help a bit.
