To Kate Smith,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

Catherine Mcdougal Thomson. Born Glasgow around 1890 - 1893. Went to India with

some missionaries as a young girl. (Date unknown but probably after 1912). Married in

Madras, India 1923, to Richard William Vernon Mowng Lat (also seen written as Maung

Lat and Mannlet). Husband listed as son of Prince John William Mawng Lat, nephew, I

think, of King Thibaw. Died Rangoon, Burma in February, 1926. Looking for information

about her life, death and burial or that of her husband.

Maybe I can help a bit.
