To Dae Wun Aung,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am looking for my relatives who are the decendents of an English Deputy Commissioner who married a local woman,Daw Sein Mya in Paletwa,Northern Arakan Hills, where he served at around 1910s. They had 2 daughters, Ma Phyu and Ah Phyu Chay. English name of one of these two daughters is Aully or Olly. Daw Sein Mya died in Paletwa. After that,Deputy Commissioner took his daughters to England together with him. What I know about one event (according to my mom) is that they (2 daughters) didn't want to leave for England. The deputy commissioner had to drag them to put on the ship. Finally they were called to the destination. Since that time, no contact with them. my grandmother and these two daughters are first cousins. I would be much obliged if someone can give me some information about them or their decendents. My contact details are +44-7949563533, email:daewunaung@gmail.com

Maybe I can help a bit.
