To Linda Fourneaux,|
I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:
My great grandfather Charles Ellison Adamson married by burman law a woman by the name of Ma Ket they had 5 daughters Sophy, Minnie, Marie, Grace and Lucy. It is my understanding that they were sent to a private girls school in Darjeeling. I also believe that they were christened in St Phillip's Church Rangoon but I can not find any church info on the internet. One of the daughters Sophy married William Lee in Burma and lived in Rangoon until 1937 or 38. when they fled to England with my English grandfather for fear of the Japanese.
