To G. Carmichael,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

George Panioty, a witness to the marriage of William Calogreedy in 1895,

was possibly the biological grandfather of George Panioty Calogreedy who

wed a French lady Sarah Louise(maiden name unknown). The Panioty and

Calogreedy families were also connected by the marriage of John Demetrious

Calogreedy to Euphrosyne Panioty, daughter of Alexander and granddaughter

of Constantine Panioty who died at Burreesaul,Burma in 1844. Euphrosyne

and John had a son called Alexander who wed Iris and had two children

Edward and Anne. Any help in tracing descendants of the Panioty families

of Burma would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I can help a bit.
