i am dr.uma.kumarasooriyar. my grand mother was born in madurai and my great grand father was mr.thuraiappa chettiar from madurai and he was working in rangoon.in rangoon my great grand mother's brothers were working and they were from sri lanka.they got their sister sivagami pillai married to mr .thurai appa chettiar of madurai.their daughter was meenakshi ammal who was born in madurai. meenakshi ammal was my grand mother. she got married to surveyer .ehamparam from jaffna hailing from saiva vellalar family ,in sri lanka.i was born in sri lanka and studied till 10th standerd their.(that is g.c.e.o/l)then i came to india and continued my studies here and i am a doctor today.i am searching for my roots in madurai.kindly help.thanking you.
