To John Telford,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am researching my Mother's family, especially my Grandfather who was called Wilfred George Cooper. My Mother was Winifred Adeline Cooper who was born in Rangoon, Burma in 1914. She married Jack Telford in 1939 (I think). I believe my Grandfather trekked out of Burma with his son Alfred. What happened to him? What happened to my Grandmother? I have no idea, and would be very grateful if anyone can give me any information. The only other names I have in their family is Manfred and Charles. Charles went to Australia that is all I know. Thank you in anticipation for reading this, can anyone help? Kind regards, John Telford

Maybe I can help a bit.
