To Mark Steevens,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am looking for any surviving family of Daniel William Steevens and Edith Lilian nee Innes. They married in Rangoon in 1900, became 7th Day Adventists and were last definitely known living in Thomakan in the Shan States in 1923. It is possible Daniel was one of the evacuees to India in 1942, as there is an entry "D.W. Stevens of Taunggyi, address in Calcutta - 27 Free School Street" in the evacuee list, who is also cross-referenced as a 7th Day Adventist in the Adventist Archives. Any information about this family will be welcome.

I would also like to make contact with anyone who attended the 7th Day Adventist School in Meiktila in the 1930s.

Maybe I can help a bit.
