To Mabel Dawson,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am searching for my relatives whom my dad had never mentioned in his life. He deceased on July 1991 but our origin was not known . His name is Victor Dawson, he joined the army in 1941 in the Burma Auxiliary Force in Maymyoas an L/bdr under Col R.A. I am searching for my Grandfather/ my cousins who are still alive and my name is Mabel Dawson. I have 5 sisters and 4 bros which makes us altogether a dozen. My dad married my mom who is a shan-phao and we used to live in Taunggyi where my dad served as an engineer in the Construction Department until he died. I am now living in Canada and the rest of my families are still in Taunggyi and Rangoon,Burma. please do e-mail me if anybody is related to me. I just would like to find my lost and unknown relatives before i die. Thanks

Maybe I can help a bit.
