To Mrs Valerie Anderson,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

Hi - I would be grateful if anyone could kindly help me trace the children of my late brother:

MR REGINALD Lawrence who worked as a Foreman for State Timber Board in Madaya Township, Mandalay District, Burma - he was married to DAW OHN SEIN and they had 2 sons and 2 daughters, my brother died in October, 1970, as far as I can recall in 1974 when I left Burma my nephews and neices were still living in Madaya Township, and both my nephews were working for the STATE TIMBER BOARD in MADAYA too.

Their names are as follows: -

JANETTE Lawrence (Daw Khin Than), JAMES Lawrence (U Myint Thein), CHARLES Lawrence (U Hla Myint) and HELEN Lawrence (Daw San Myint)

(these children do not speak or write English).

(If anyone has ideas on other channels I may be able to use to find them, please let me know as I am desperate to get in contact with them.)

Thank you for your help and co-operation in advance.
