To Christine Askew,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

Dear friends,

This is not really about a missing relative - my Dad Norman Reeve died in 1993 but he served in the British Army in Burma during WWII. I am trying to find out what regiment my Dad served in so that I can follow his actions during the war and also find his war record - the MOD say they can only do a search if they have his regiment. He was Norman Reeve - from Sheffield, Yorkshire and served towards the end of the war under Lord Mountbatten in the 14th (forgotten) army.

Can anyone help pelase?

Maybe I can help a bit.
