To Margaret Mitchell,|
I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:
James A. MITCHELL was my grandfather who lived in Burma and Malaya during the 1920's 1930's and 1940's. I have only just embarked on my research, but am seeking friends or possibly relatives that I might have in these countries. I have photos of my grandfather in Rangoon and in Mandalay. He was in the tin mining industry and originated from Cornwall, in the United Kingdom. Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated as I am reseaching to write a book.
