To Rebecca,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

Looking for any information on Jennifer Marjorie Taylor. Born in Rangoon on 9th Feb 1927 to John Stanley Taylor of Linton, Ballarat, Australia (D.O.B 23 Feb 1894) and Dorothy Buck of Delhi (her father was a band master in the British Army). Jennifer disappeared in April or May 1942 near the India/Burma border. According to Red Cross records after her mother died she might have stayed with a Mrs Robinson who also possibly died 10 miles from the border.

If anyone has any information or memories of Jennifer my grandfather, her brother, Peter Taylor would love to hear of them.

Siblings: Eric Taylor b. 1916; Jocelyn DOB 25 Apr 1920; Peter DOB 6 Feb 1925.

Maybe I can help a bit.
