To David Vincent,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I'm searching for information about Kathleen Genivive Marschner (nee Carr) and Frank Henry Marschner who died in the Japanese bombing of Rangoon on 23/12/1941. Gloria Catherine Marschner was a daughter of Kathleen and my Grandmother. Another daughter of Kathleen, Constance D'Cruz (nee Marschner) was also killed in the bombing with her 2yo daughter Winsome D'Cruz.

Frank Henry Marschner (b1875) was a pursar for the Bibby line based in Rangoon and was formerly a Lieutenant in the Irish Hussars. His father was Henry Marschner.

Kathleen Genivive Carr (b1886 or 1872) was the daughter of John Peter Carr and Sarah. She was a teacher & stenographer in Rangoon.

Maybe I can help a bit.
