To Karen Rolls,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

Seeking information about/relatives of Alice Elizabeth Miller born circa 1860, no idea where.

Alice married someone surnamed Masson and was a widow when she married my gt grandfather Owen Evans in June 1893 in Rangoon, Burma. She was a Teacher and her father was a W H Miller. Owen and Alice had two daughters that I know of:

1) Gwendoline Appolonia Evans born in 1896.

2) Appolonia Ann Evans born in 1901 (later to be known as Ann Elizabeth Evans).

I don't know where the children were born, but I do know they were both christened at All Saints, Yamethin, Mandalay in 1914.

Any info, etc., would be most welcome.

Maybe I can help a bit.
