To U Kyaw Zeyya,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

My name is Kyaw Zeyya and I am looking for 2 long-lost sons. I lost contact with them after 1 divorced my first wife in 1968.

Their names are

  • Kyaw Han born 1961 (?? possibly taught at King's College at some time)
  • Mya Zan born 1967
They are probably living in London.

My father is U Tin Maung, formerly of the BBC Burmese section. My first wife, the mother of my sons, is Burmese-Indian, born in Malaysia. We were married in Singapore, where I was serving in the Air Force until 1967 when we came to England. Pleae ring +44 (0)20 7207 9522.

Maybe I can help a bit.
