To Siew Lian Bain,|
I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:
I am trying to trace my Sister. Her name is Tien Kim Lian. She was born in Singapore and was adopted when she was 3 years old. We have 7 in our family, she was the 6th child in line, we have also lost touch with our youngest brother who was also adopted. The last time I saw her was when she was around 14 years old, myself, my sister Swee Lian and my 2 brothers Thiam Yong and William met up with her after not seeing her since she was adopted - this was in 1961-1962. She is thought to be living in Penang or Java, near Indonesia, I have heard that she is married with 3 children and working in a Jewellery store. She is probably around 52 years old now and born in Kandang Kerbau Hospital in Singapore. Our Mother's name is Ho Thaim Eng and our Father's name is Tien Ah Seng. I am now living in the United Kingdom, married with 2 children.
