To Elaine Symington,

I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:

I am looking for my uncle, Simon Douglas Robertson, born in Burma possibly in the late 1920s, 4th and youngest child of Alfred Julius Robertson and Emilia Paolini. My grandfather was a barrister and had a legal practice in Rangoon. Simon Douglas's siblings were my father, John, born in 1917, David and Joyce. My father, John, left home at the age of 17, joined the Merchant Navy and never saw his parents or youngest brother or sister again. At some stage Simon Douglas went to Australia to join his brother, David, but later returned to Burma. He was married with sons. I do not know if he is still alive but would like to make contact with him or any cousins.

I would also like to find my aunt, Joyce Robertson, born in the 1920's to the same parents. She apparently relocated to London as an adult.

Maybe I can help a bit.
