I am replying to your query for a lost person, which I saw on the Britain-Burma Society's Lost Relatives web page (http://shwepla.net/Misspers.mv). You said:
Trying to contact anyone who may have any information regarding my family. I see a lot of names on this site that are related to me. My great grandfather was Maung bah Thoon his wife was lady madison Bradshaw. Had 3 Children, 2 boys (leslie, leapold) 1 girl. My Grandfather lived in Rangoon and went to Enland and was married and recorded in england as a civil engineer. In 1939 my Grandmother Madison-Bradshaw, took 1 son my grandfather leapold maung Bahtoon and took refuge in Lethbridge alberta Canada. My father leroy Leslie Maung bah htoon was put up for adoption during the war. My grandmother Emelia Untershire remarried Homer Edwards and took his name. 10 years later my father was adopted by Emelia and Homer Edwards while my grandfather Leapold maung ba htoon never knew what happened to his son in 1959. Leapold Maung bah htoon died in 1979 leslie leroy Maung bah htoon died in 1989. Last known residence was in Rangoon in 1939 when I think my family disappeared. If anyone knows of any information or contacts anywhere or any information regarding if there is any family left please contact me. I am a stranger in a strange without any family and would like to visit burma one day and maybe meet some family.
